Not satisfied with customer service number. The "local office is unavailable" and there is no voice mail. Tech out on the road called me from unlisted/blocked number so I can't reach him either. After 9am on a weekday and this is unacceptable. Add comment

We did business with Amerigas for 17 years. The only complaint I had up until a year ago was trouble with a driver. He was very rude when he came out on a emergency call when my propane tank backed up and filled my home with fumes. This past year has been a complete disaster! Major billing issues! We contacted customer service numerous times and were lied to and dodged. They shut off our service with no notice and sent us to collections over a tank rental we were never billed for! Wish they had a zero star option for this one!?! This company is horrible!!! Buyer beware!?! I had a service rep. Tell me that I could get this great rate of $1.99 per gallon. Once that rate expired, I was charged $3.99 per gallon!!! I called to see why it has tripled and complain and they said they could "adjust" the rate to $2.99. I called back to compare what I was paying as an existing customer compared to new customers...thinking that they charged existing customers more because they can since propane isn't regulated by the government. ... I ve been a customer for over 20 years. Called and had my 100 gallon tank filled . l usually ask what the price is, but i figured with oil and gas prices being a fraction of what they were last year my price would be about the same or lower. When they delivered gas and i looked at the price per gallon, i almost had a heart attack. It had DOUBLED. Called local office and was told there was nothing they could do. I m done , but the sad thing about it is, i don t think they will evev care. Read more

I ve been a customer for over 20 years. Ordered and had my 100 gallon tank filled. The price was double what i paid last year. For some reason Amerigouge doubles their price when oil and natural gas prices are a fraction of what they were a year ago, silly me, i thought my price would be lower this year. Never again, i m done but i really don t think they will even care!!!! Add comment

Amerigas bought out my supplier I thought OK well in December after an Auto Fill, They sent me a Bill for over 700 dollars for filling my tank from 30% to 80 % (250 gal tank) I called them and I got the well you can pay us a 125 a year and we can lock in your price but as far as this bill sorry that's the price, Lease came up in Feb but still had too much gas in the tank so I just did not pay the lease .. I ordered propane on 22 Feb 2016 and to date never got the propane . I called them and said come and get your tank and they stated be out next week to get it . Wow really , and i couldnt get propane that quick. They really suck at customer service , they could care less about their customers at all . I wouldnt recommend them to know one at all . They really suck at what they do . I have a lot of few kind words i vould say but i wont do that , but its a company that doesnt put the customer first at all . I have been trying for the last 3 month to have my tank picked up after cancelling my account. In fact it has ony been scheduled twice. Tuesday 4-19-16 and friday, 4-8-16. Both times no one showed up or called. Only after I called did they tell me that it was rescheduled for another time. I will never use them again due to their lack of consideration and poor customer support. I feel because they aren't getting any money out of this, they are dragging their feet... Read more

Late charges within a day or two of receiving online bill..."amount due upon receipt of billing notice. NO connection between online billing and email bill and reality!!! No satisfaction talking to office personnel...they will tell you they have no connection with billing. Management is even worse with no knowledge of how their company's billing system works. I received an online statement of no balance due and within hours an email stating balance Of $75 plus late fee of $25.00. No one can explain other than to say something about... Read more

I will NEVER use Amerigas again, even if I have to pay more somewhere else. 1) A local realtor arranged group pricing for my small community. Amerigas never informed me of this. When I asked about it, they informed me that they would have to pull my meter. Not desireable, but i could tolerate that for the better price. 2) When the serviceman came to pull my meter, he performed a pressure test, even though they had already been providing propane to me for many years.
