Amerigas has just recently moved our due date to the 14th of the month, a day before out 15th of the month payday. This puts tremendous financial pressure on us to have the due date moved.

I called Amerigas and they refuse to even discuss the matter. Apprarently, moving a due date is somethgin they will not discuss. I am very frustrated.

It's hasrd to manage a tight budget when Amerigas picks an arbitrary due date each month and then wants to hit you with a $30 late fee if your late. Can someone provide some assistance here on who regulated Amerigas in Florida?

If you live in Florida, I'm sure that you have noticed that your account number has recently changed. You probably switched over to a new account number starting with 2000....with that being said, that means that you were converted over to their new billing system.

Check the last time that you received gas. Was it on the 14th of the previous month? It probably was. They are now on a cycle that the bill is due 30 days from the date of delivery, not on a specific day.

Unfortunately, I can understand your frustration when you are so accustomed to something for so long, however, when companies do things like this, it's for a good reason. If you would like to voice your frustrations, take into consideration that there are alot of people out there that have abused the system, which spurs change like this and ruins it for everyone else.
