Amerigas Customer Care Review from Lebanon, Pennsylvania

After being ripped off on propane for a season I switched providers. Now trying to get Amerigas tanks removed. They keep giving me dates for pick up and the tanks are still here. Customer service says they have up to 90 days ro remove them. !?!?!? Plus when I inquired about a refund I was told that Amerigas doesn't credit for unused product. Seriously? They'll resell what I've already paid for. And they wonder why I switched providers.

Amerigas Customer Care Review

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever found in any business. Over 10 days to get gas delivered. Then they call me and want to make an appointment for when they can deliver it when I have surgery in the middle of the following week. Anybody that does business with these people must be just an ***. This was the Ogden store and all I can tell you is they suck big time.

Not satisfied with customer service number. The "local office is unavailable" and there is no voice mail. Tech out on the road called me from unlisted/blocked number so I can't reach him either. After 9am on a weekday and this is unacceptable.

Amerigas Customer Care Review from Hopewell, Virginia

I have been trying for the last 3 month to have my tank picked up after cancelling my account. In fact it has ony been scheduled twice. Tuesday 4-19-16 and friday, 4-8-16. Both times no one showed up or called. Only after I called did they tell me that it was rescheduled for another time. I will never use them again due to their lack of consideration and poor customer support. I feel because they aren't getting any money out of this, they are dragging their feet...

Amerigas - Billing practices

Late charges within a day or two of receiving online bill..."amount due upon receipt of billing notice. NO connection between online billing and email bill and reality!!! No satisfaction talking to office personnel...they will tell you they have no connection with billing. Management is even worse with no knowledge of how their company's billing system works. I received an online statement of no balance due and within hours an email stating balance Of $75 plus late fee of $25.00. No one can explain other than to say something about balances are due immediately! I am going to Better Business Bureau next. This site is probably just the tip of the iceberg.
