thinking that they charged existing customers more because they can since propane isn't regulated by the government. After doing a little research and asking several questions as a "new customer looking into propane companies", I was told the rates could be anywhere from $1.99-$3.99 per gallon according to "market value and usage". I told them those rates seemed much higher than the few other companies I got information from, to which I was...

I ve been a customer for over 20 years.Called and had my 100 gallon tank filled . l usually ask what the price is, but i figured with oil and gas prices being a fraction of what they were last year my price would be about the same or lower. When they delivered gas and i looked at the price per gallon, i almost had a heart attack. It had DOUBLED. When we ran out of propane they would not refill the tank until we paid the fee for not getting a refill, which they then waived. We got a refill, they billed us (read : gouged us) for the refill and waived fee. I paid the gouged price, noted on the bill that the no-refill fee had been waived, which triggered a shut-off notice and a bill for $170.58, which corresponds to nothing -- not the bill I paid and not the waived fee for not getting a...
