We have placed an order with AMERIGAS on February 4, 2010 and We still do not have propane. Their policy states that they will service a customer within 7-10 days, however, it has been almost 3 weeks.

We have continuously tried to contact them at their local office and their emergency number, but they are not answering their phones. I want to know where can I go to get some propane and if I can get help from another supplier and get rid of AMERIGAS once and for all.

Can anybody help! I am tired of being without hot water and heat.

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia

Being will call and having a locked in price are not mutually exclusive, so how the *** ck can you say that the will call price is lower? Being forecast or will call does not affect your price in ANY way.

Maybe they'd give out the market rate more willingly if *** hillbillies understood what a market rate actually was. It's the MARKET RATE, not the AMERIGAS RATE, *** fa ggot.

Not only will they not answer the phone when they do answer the phone they put you on hold for a long time. Amerigas has refused to disclose the current retail price per gallon for the propane which they sell.

They raise the price to force you into a pre-pay contract. The contract price is much higher than the will-call price.

When you call Amerigas and you speak with a representative. You are speaking to Amerigas.

Amerigas has it's own Customer care center. They are not an outside agency they have access to your account. They are in the business to sell gas this is how they make their money.

You may not get your gas exactly when you want it but why would they not bring it. It is how they pay there bills.

Same happened to us at 30%... Called 3X before getting an answer, which was a recording...

Left a message but got no answer... Called again about a week later and was told that they'd get a delivery out to me, Which showed up about 10 days later... My big complaint is that it was supposed to be competitively priced... NOT!!!

Local prices in Preston County are $2.39 per gal.

and I got charged $3.70... We are going to war...

Maybe if you paid your bill BEFORE you called for service you wouldn't have so much trouble!

I read recently that gynecologists from three states were investigating just what the *** that thing is between HadEnough's legs.

Maybe is Amerigas employees spent more time actually responding to their customers they wouldnt need to have their emplyees spend time responding to consumer complaints. I have never met a more unethical and unresponsice company in my life.

I had them for two years until I got rid of them for their unethical and possibly illegal behavior.

I read recently that Attorney Generals in three states are looking into their activities. It is about time

The STUPIDITY lies in your own words because we did not have a choice when we purchased our home the tank was in the ground, so what do you suggest we do? dig it up and pay for another tank. Next time you want to call someone *** get the facts first.

Why don't you *** people buy a tank from someone and then you can buy your gas from whoever you want! That's what I did.

However some companies will not sell you tanks, so shop around.

Rarely is there no other company around, I can choose from about 10 different propane providers in my area. Have people forgotten how to use the yellow pages?

To:Justhelping: I was not able to call another company because my tank was leased by Americgas. I do own my own tank and and is currently using Quarles.

To:LiarLiarpants on fire. God Bless you, I don't own you an explanation, but I will tell you this Amerigas will never put propane in my tank again!

JoeMeyersIsALyingSackOfShit has to be a Amerigas employee. Only a customer support person would have so much time, since they don't answer the phone.

Anybody that has ever dealt with Amerigas knows what a piece of *** they are. I surprised you can read and write, I didn't think that is necessary to work at Amerigas.

Guest

js2010- You have many other propane companies in your area to call. Revere, Quarles, and Anderson are the names of just a few that will help you in the Fredericksburg area.

Guest

Joe, what the *** are you talking about? How can a price be raised once you're locked in?

Why are you spreading lies and misinformation about Amerigas?

MarkB, why did you let your tank run out of propane before you called for a delivery?

You're told to call by 30% at the lowest so a delivery can be made before you run out. If you're too *** cking *** to watch your tank and call before you run out, why is that the company's fault?

Guest

I agree, they might just be the worst company I have ever dealt with and I'm 55 years old. I will do whatever I have to do to get rid of them.

They say they don't have the man power/trucks to fill my tank in a timely manner but no other company can legally fill it. Yey are actually dealing with peoples live but they don't care. If you call be prepared to wait 20-30, cut off a time or 2, and all you get from them is excuses. It took over 10 days for them to get to me.

Mean wile we have to use space heaters. If they can't do the job, why can't they farm out some deliveries to "Take Care Of The Customer" They can't do that, it might cost them money They suck and they will be out very soon.!

Guest

Amerigas employees people to discount any complaints filed here. They will not identify themselves(being cowards).

It is Amerigas company policy to raise your price once you are locked in. A completely unethical practice.

My price was up to $3.55/gal. when I fired them.
