AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - Dishonest, Unreachable, and Exploitative Fees
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with.

You can never reach the local officethey are completely unresponsive. The Indian call center is at least polite and answers the phone, but they lack any real authority to help with anything. Even they were unable to reach the local office and told me it would take 24-72 hours just to hear back.
Im canceling my service, and they are demanding nearly $500 just to pick up the tanks Ive been renting from themtanks that I cannot return myself because they refuse to allow it. This fee is supposedly justified by the inspection they claim to perform on every fill-up, but thats a complete joke.

I had two separate fill-ups where the bottom stand rings were completely rusted out and at serious risk of failure. Did their techs mention anything? No. They just filled the tanks and left, leaving a dangerous situation unnoticed.

The only reason I caught it was sheer luck, as these tanks are on a part of my property I rarely check.
So what exactly is my rental fee paying for? Certainly not safety or proper maintenance. This company is happy to take your money but does nothing to ensure their own equipment is in proper condition.

And when you finally decide to leave, they gouge you for more money on the way out.
This is the definition of a predatory companythey dont care about safety, customer service, or fairness, just squeezing every last dollar out of their customers. Do yourself a favor and find another provider before you get trapped in their web of fees and negligence.

Eighteen month battle for refund.

We moved from Pueblo, CO eighteen months ago. I have called many times to get my refund.

Today, I was told that this needed to be negotiated between me and the new owners of the property. Interestingly not one of the half dozen Amerigas employees I have spoken with prior ever mentioned that. All calls are recorded so I am told. I have been lied too more than I can count in the last eighteen months.

Amerigas and its employees either have zero integrity or are completely ignorant about the company and its policies that they are employed by. I was lead to believe several times that this would be resolved and a refund would be forthcoming. Today however the supervisor- Bornface - stated that he is in fact the highest level of authority for the call center for customer service. He then stupidly made the ridiculous and unimaginably absurd suggestion that I go back to the new home owners and request a refund from them.

Amerigas is UNamerican.

Essentially this untouchable corporation has no principles. I would suggest finding ANY other company to provide your propane needs.

Furnace doesnt run when below 12%. Amerigas came and put 70 in.

Said they would be back to fill tank in a few day.

They screwed up my bill I got 95.3 gallons delivered. They were charging me for 4 10 lb.

Tanks at $99.99 each. I have called several times and instead of fixing it, they made it worse now charging me for 95.3 10 lb. Tanks at $99.99 each. They are now showing I owe like $9,500!

I have spent over 8 hours on hold, etc. and over 7 phone calls.

Still not fixed and they wont get me to an American that I can understand and has the authority to fix it! Im frustrated and Im at a loss on how to get this corrected!
