I switched to natural gas 1 year ago and still have not ben reimbursed by Amerigas for the propane that remains in the tank. Now if I owed them money they would be all over me.
I have called the local office several times and there is always an excuse. I called the corporate office in September, they told me someone would be out Oct. 13. Apparently someone was out, said they could not remove the tank or the gas but did not notify me or leave a note.
Interesting, if I were still a costumer they would certainly find a way to put $1,300.00 worth of propane in the tank but they can't find a way to refund me a fraction of that. The injustice here is I will not receive interest on the money they've owed me for a year but if I were late making a payment to them I would be severely penalized!!!
