Amerigas - Local propane gas co.s all have the tendancy to put it to you when they own the tank

local supplier chg'd 3.46/gal, called their parent co and was quoted 1.93 called supplier again, they agreed to 2.19 i said ok, and refilled,now time for refill and they insist on 3.46 again. called parent co.
this time they refused to give me a price.called other cos. all around 1.89 to 2.39 but cant fill another cos. tank.
will supply a new tank to own for close to 1000.00 installed, then you can shop for best price, but then you pay a lot for service or leak test. where can you find an honest dealer???????
