We have been having issues with Amerigas since we started with them. We moved in to this house and had good standing with propane co. where we came from yet Amerigas refused to allow us to pay monthly, they only allowed us to "call pay" meaning we had to call to get propane.

Oddly enough though they would bring propane without our call and then price gouge us, we went from $2.79 a gallon to after they brought propane without our permission charged us $4.04 a gallon.

After calling them they lowered the price to $3.89 a gallon, we decided to search for new company because obviously they wanted blatantly to price gouge us at a time when the country was in recession and everybody is hurting including us.

When we found a new company. Amerigas decided to make us dig up their tank as opposed to selling a used 8 yrs old tank to our new company. Prior to having them pick up their tank we asked by phone and letter for them to contact us to pick up because per experience we knew they would try to get more money and low and behold they did.

They are now claiming we owe more money for the regulators stating that we did not give them to them, we put them inside the top of tank so they would all be together. But of course they came when we were not home to pick up tank and failed to inform us when they were coming. We wanted to get pictures of them coming and fortunately for us we did get pictures of where we left the regulators.

This company is terribly crooked. Please do not use them. Save yourself any problems.

How much does Amerigas pay you to defame people. You no nothing about us.

We have paid our bill, even though we did not call for this propane. We have excellent credit with a propane co. in another state that we have been with for 9 yrs. We have never been over charged by this other company in the different state.

This is why we have been with the other company for so long at our other property. We no not like doing business with companies who treat the customers like this.

You just told on yourself. You did not pass a credit check, you did not pre-buy, you did not lock in your price, you are just a dead beat customer who does not pay his bill. You just switch companies to continue getting gas !
