Amerigas' customer service is the worst I have seen outside of cable providers. They do not communicate.

I paid them to deliver propane.

They told me it would be 7-10 days, but I could pay a ridiculous fee to get it faster. I told them I was getting low, so I turned off my heat and started using Kerosine heaters, so they wouldn't charge me a trip fee and inspection charge. They delivered the propane when I wasn't home, they disconnected my tank which depressurized the system and they installed a lock on a tank that I own.

I have been without a furnace, and I have 400 gallons of propane that I bought from them in my tank, but I can't use it until I pay Amerigas to come back out and do an inspection and reconnect my line. They have lost my business, but their lock amounts to extortion, as I cannot pay a competitor to do the work, since they unlawfully locked my property.
